Verse 1
Ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh
The word of God came to Elijah,
“Rise and go to Zarephath.
At the gate there waits a widow,
I’ve prepared for you a home.”
The widow there was gathering firewood,
Elijah gently said,
“Please give me a little water,
And bring a little bread.”
Verse 2
She said, “I have no bread,
Only a little flour, a little oil.
My son and I will eat this last meal,
There’s no way left for us.”
Elijah said to her,
“Do not be afraid, do not fear.
First make for me a little cake,
God will care for you and your home.”
Pre-Chorus
Oh oh oh, do not fear, God has a way.
Oh oh oh, when you choose to believe,
Grace will come today.
Chorus
The flour in the jar will not run out,
The oil in the jug will not run dry.
Oh oh oh, if God has spoken,
His promise will never fail.
The flour in the jar will not run out,
The oil in the jug will not run dry.
Oh oh oh, day by day,
My God will provide for me.
Verse 3
The woman did just what he told her,
She gave her little bread.
She and her son and Elijah
Had food for many days.
Not because she had so much,
Not because the times were good,
But because in the middle of her needing,
She still believed God’s word.
Bridge
When I only have a little,
You still care for me.
When I feel I’ve got nothing left,
You say Your grace is enough for me.
Oh oh oh,
A little flour, a little oil,
Becomes abundance in Your hands.
Oh oh oh,
I believe, I will believe,
You are the faithful God.
Ending
The flour in the jar will not run out,
The oil in the jug will not run dry.
Oh oh oh,
My God will provide for me.
The flour in the jar will not run out,
The oil in the jug will not run dry.
My God, my Lord,
Oh oh oh,
You will provide,
You will care for me.
